Kanye West Presents G.O.O.D. Music Cruel Summer

So we all know what would happen when this album dropped...  G.O.O.D. Music just shut the game ALL. THE. WAY. DOWN!!!!!

There's not one beat on this compilation that is not straight crack. It's the perfect mix of Rap and R&B with slow cuts "The One," "Creepers," & "Bliss" and the bangers like "The Morning," & "Clique."

One of the best surprises was the track "Higher," featuring The-Dream, Pusha T, Cocaine 80s, and the main man, Ma$e.  Ma$e murdered this entire song. Like someone on Youtube said, "MASE can be a FLIP FLOPPING PASTOR ALL HE WANTS if he keeps pushing HEAT LIKE THIS!!!"

Make sure you don't miss picking this one up if you haven't already. And stay updated for tour dates (!)

"Ain't nobody fuckin' with my clique." Well, I think they got this one. Shoutout to G.O.O.D. Music.

Frank Ocean x "Pyramids" Music Video

Now if you miss quality, meaningful music videos and love naked/scantily clad strippers then look no further.  Frank Ocean's newest video for his song "Pyramids" is one of the best ones to come out in a long time.  With his beautiful voice and John Mayer's epic guitar solo scene (not for the epileptic), you've easily gotten one of the most memorable music videos of the year.

The Weeknd x Wicked Games (New Version)

The Weeknd, who just kicked off his Fall Tour in Chicago, is finally signed.  Republic, a division of Universal Music Group, has decided to release the Trilogy, a package of Abel's three popular mixtapes.  This collection will be released November 13th, and will include some new songs, too.  His first single will be "Wicked Games," for which he released a completely remastered version of a few days ago.  Check it out and try to catch him on his tour, it's sure to be dope!

Lil Wayne x Dedication 4

Now when I heard Wayne was set to come out with a new mixtape, I shrugged it off. I figured it would be a Sorry 4 The Wait Part 2, and in that case, was not interested in the least...

...But I was pleasantly surprised, like most of you. No, it's not better than any of the other Dedication mixtapes, but it was a lot better than what he has been putting out lately.

Rapping over beats like "Special Delivery," "Wish You Would," and songs like "No Worries" and "Burn" showed that Weezy still got a little something left in him. His features were decent, too. J. Cole went the f*ck off on "Green Ranger," and Lil Mouse has everybody doing the money dance on "Get Smoked." Nicki's verse on "Mercy" has caused tons of controversy in the news these days as she rapped that she was voting for Romney in November.

Sadly, his fans (myself included), have to come to the realization that Wayne will never be like he was years ago before he really blew up, but that comes with the price of fame. Fortunately for us, he can still give us something good if he wants to, which he should do more often.

Let us hope "I Am Not A Human Being II" is not a disappointment, which drops this Fall.
